Got invited out too late to actually do something good, so I’m grabbing my leather jacket, Maglite, and strapping my GoPro to my chest and saying that I’m a horror movie survivor. Anyone else doing something equally last minute?

You should practice your ‘permanently terrified’ face just to add to your ensemble.

I’m also going to run everywhere and inspect every spooky noise.

If I do actually end up going somewhere I plan on wearing the white sheet off my bed and wrapping a red towel around my shoulder and going as Jesus.

Go as ‘First Person Video Game Character’ instead. Strap it to your head and make a big cardboard gun. Film everything at the halloween party, then play it back on a big screen. have your friends pretend to be shot up or fight back. Improve the concept with nerf or squirt guns if you so desire.

That’s pretty good too. Although I have no desire to be around Nerf guns since the accident.

Make sure you split up from your friends too, then later on when you re-find them, act really surprised and exhaustively happy to see them alive.
Have fun!

Pro tip: use clean linen! Though the sheet directly off the bed would be more authentic, most people aren’t ready for that level of ownage.

Make sure there are no black lights.

I’m either doing exactly what I said I’d do yesterday (hooray race suit) or re-hashing the dirndl from LeMons.
Only thing is, it’s wet, but I don’t know if it’s cold. Dirndl might win some costume contests, but if it’s wet and cold, that’s not gonna happen.

Just washed them in the laundry this morning, should be good!

Just making sure. Only on Oppo are skidmarks acceptable. Sorry, I’ve been waiting all day for a sheet comment to toss out that joke. My day is complete.

I did laundry this morning so hopefully there’s no sketchy stains or anything. Now I’m kinda paranoid anyways, thanks 0_0

You saw the opportunity and seized it, and for that I respect you.

I’m not even half or quarter-assing it this year. I’m just wearing regular clothes when I take my kids out trick or treating.
And I didn’t do any decorating and I’m not even giving out any treats.
Nothing... Nada.. Zip... Nichts...

If it’s an old sheet, cut a hole for each eye and one for the mouth and you can be a ghost.
It’s the classic half-assing-it costume.

I’m going as a drunk Jkm.

I had to wear my uniform to a meeting at work this morning and have been too lazy to change so far. It looks fairly ridiculous, so it could work.

That’s actually really good.

2010, a new neighbor was having a costume party. I texted the guy across the street and told him to grab. We also filled our backbacks up with beer.
We called each other “Brother Mike” and “Brother Chris” all night. Aside from the beer, the costume just cost us some printer ink.
I think the name tags took me the longest to make.
